Arctander comments there are qualities somewhat remiscent of cassie and mimosa typical to Atlas Cedarwood. Tony Burfield reports a more dirty-woody, slightly urinous odor quality.

Perfumery: Widely used as a fixative unique woody-sweet odor which blends well with Labdanum and all woody or woody-floral compositions. Very nice in unisex or masculine soaps.
